HEMPTECH is a worldwide network of communications and hemp professionals working to reintroduce industrial hemp into our economy. HEMPTECH publishes books and reports, as well as providing consulting and other information services to the growing hemp industry. The company was founded in 1994 by John W. Roulac, an environmental entrepreneur.

Founder Bio: John W. Roulac is founder/president of Harmonious Technologies, which has assisted more than 400 government agencies in developing municipally sponsored home-composting programs. John is the author of Backyard Composting: Your Complete Guide to Recycling Yard Clippings, with over 350,000 copies sold worldwide. Roulac has been quoted in publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal to the Utne Reader. In 1994 John founded HEMPTECH, The Industrial Hemp Information Network.
